Notch keeps everything on your phone. There's no sign-up, and your habits never leave your device. The iOS app only counts anonymous usage, like which screens get opened, and the Android app sends a crash report if it crashes. Neither ever includes what your habits are called. Read the privacy policy.

Is Notch free?
Yes. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases.
What happens if I miss a day?
If you have a streak freeze banked, it covers the day and your streak survives. If not, the streak starts again.
Does it sync between devices?
Not yet. Your data lives on your phone and is included in your normal iCloud or Google device backup.
Light or dark?
Both. "neo" is paper and ink, "mono" is black and lime, and "auto" follows your phone. This site has the same switch at the top.
